"B-Belarus, please!" Ukraine pounded her fists to the door as she sobbed.

"She's not going to come out of there, sister."

"How can you give up so easily, Ivan?!" tears welled up along the corners of her mouth and slipped onto her tongue. Tears were salty, just like blood; though not as metallic.

"She's giving up. Let her." Russia put his hands out to the side indifferently.

"She's doing this because of you!" the sister yelled, standing quickly and hitting a weak fist to the Russian's chest as she continued to cry. Ivan clamped an enormous hand over her head and squeezed softly against her temples as if to relax her. She swatted him away forcefully and returned to the door. "Belarus!"

~

From within the room, Belarus held a knife to her throat and pressed the cold steel against her soft skin. She sighed deeply and stared down at her reflection that rested upon the dagger.

"I've never been good enough. Not for Ivan, not for anyone."

~

"Please, Ivan, help!"

"Fine, then." Russia moved Ukraine aside and pushed the doorknob out through the thick wood without difficulty. Then, he slid the door open. For a couple seconds, he gawked at Belarus, then smiled darkly.

"What are you doing, sister?"

"Wh-What do you think?!"

"I think you're being stupid. Or logical. Which, is your choice."

"I-It doesn't matter! Not to you, not to me!"

"You're right. I could care less." Ivan chuckled in a high pitch.

In return, Belarus growled, "I'll see you under the raining fires of hell, Ivan!" and with that, she slit her throat. The knife remained in her palms as blood sprayed the front of Russia's jacket and she fell.

While Ukraine wailed loudly in the background out of grief, Russia held his hands out, catching the blood droplets like a small child would catch snow on a winter's evening.

"Under the rain?" he cocked his head to the side and thought about the statement. After he had decided that it had no significance and was only a threat meant to scare him, he shook it off. Smiling, he looked over to his sister, who was on the verge of losing her mind, and said, "Sister, it's such a gloomy and rainy evening. Let's go start a jigsaw puzzle."
You all know the saying, "We'll save this for a raining afternoon", right? Yeah...It usually refers to board games and puzzles, and I figured that Russia's loony enough to say such things.

Ukraine, you knew it was coming =_=, go finish that puzzle of a cute little puppy with your brother.
